🌺 Guiding Principles and the Sacred Thread of Discipline

🙏 Namaste and welcome to our Yoga Teacher Training Course.

We are deeply grateful to share this transformative journey with you — a path of growth that embraces the body, mind, and spirit.

May each moment here be a source of awareness, harmony, and inner light.

🍁 General Information

  • To honor the yogic path and maintain the pure and elevated energy of this space, we kindly request that you refrain from using substances such as alcohol, drugs, and tobacco throughout the course. The use and possession of intoxicants, as well as non-vegetarian food, are not allowed on the campus.
  • The school gate closes at 10:00 PM. Returning after this time will be considered a violation of the institute’s ethical code. If you wish to stay out overnight, please sign a check-out form at the reception.
  • A security deposit of 1000 INR is required at check-in and will be refunded at check-out if everything is in order.
  • On the first day, there will be no meals or activities. You are welcome to explore the nearby cafés and surroundings.
  • Please take good care of your belongings and always keep your room locked — including doors and balcony windows — to avoid visits from curious monkeys.

📿 Sunday: A Day of Rest and Renewal

  • No classes or meals will be scheduled. This is a time for rest or gentle exploration. Any group excursions will be announced one day in advance and they are normally done in the morning.

🌸 Available Services

  • Laundry: 20 INR per item, to be paid in cash at the time of return. Please inquire at the reception.
  • Room cleaning: Done weekly. Notifications will be shared via WhatsApp.
  • Filtered drinking water is available on three floors, along with dispensers for hot, cold, and room-temperature water.

📷 Photography and Media

  • Photos and video recordings may be taken for promotional purposes during the course. If you prefer not to appear in any media, please let us know during orientation.

🌟 Mindful Use of Energy

  • Please turn off fans, air conditioners, lights, and water heaters when not in use, as a gesture of care for the environment.

🩺 In Case of Medical Emergency

  • You may contact Nitika Ji, Anjali Ji, Jittu Ji, Pankaj Ji, Prahlad Ji via WhatsApp. For night emergencies, please go to Room 102 (if in 200hrs building), or 101 (if in 300hrs building). Medical expenses are the responsibility of the student.

🏡 External Visits and Guests

  • To protect the sacred group energy, friends or family members are not allowed in the campus without prior permission.

🥗 Yogic Food

  • All meals are lacto-vegetarian, inspired by traditional Indian cuisine. Eggs are not considered vegetarian in local culture. For special dietary needs, you may visit nearby organic stores.
  • Please receive each meal with Kritajna (gratitude).
  • If you will not be attending a meal, kindly inform us at least 3 hours in advance to prevent food waste.
  • To cultivate mindfulness and presence, we encourage silence during dinner, both verbal and nonverbal. Conversations may resume naturally after everyone has finished eating.
  • Meals are available for 30 minutes after service begins. After that, food will not be served unless you’ve informed the staff beforehand. This supports the well-being and proper rest of both students and staff.
  • If allergies or intolerances were not mentioned on your arrival form, a 4000 INR (approx. 50 USD) fee may apply.

🧘 Respect and Kindness

  • We kindly ask that you interact with teachers, fellow students, and staff with mutual respect and compassion.
  • Please help maintain cleanliness and order in shared spaces. School utensils, mats, and props should be returned clean to their proper place after use.

🤝 Shared Living Guidelines

  • If you’ve chosen a shared room, we invite you to approach this experience with flexibility, conscious communication, and mutual respect. The school is not responsible for interpersonal issues — we trust in your maturity to resolve any misunderstandings peacefully.
  • For shared AC rooms, air conditioning may only be used with the mutual agreement of both roommates.
  • If you are aware that you snore during sleep, we recommend opting for a private room out of consideration for others’ comfort. Please note the school cannot be held responsible for sleep-related disturbances in shared rooms.

🌎 Sustainability & Local Traditions

  • Please limit the use of toilet paper and use the water jet provided. If you’re unfamiliar with it, feel free to ask for guidance.
  • Prefer using the bucket for showers — it's simple and environmentally conscious.
  • In case of power outages (common in summer), ACs and water heaters may not work temporarily.
  • Do not feed monkeys or eat while walking in the streets.
  • Avoid street food and drink only filtered water. Limit raw fruits and vegetables for digestion safety.

🙏 Cultural Sensitivity

  • Please avoid public displays of affection and dress modestly. Refrain from wearing revealing or transparent clothing, or outfits that expose the chest (for both men and women).
  • When visiting temples or other sacred sites, please ensure your shoulders are covered and wear clothing that extends below the knees
  • Men and women are not allowed to enter each other’s rooms unless they are sharing the same room as a couple, friends, or family.

📕 Classes and Spiritual Discipline

To receive your certificate, 100% attendance is required. A maximum of 10% absence is allowed only for justified medical reasons.

  • Participation in peer exams is mandatory
  • Attendance will be tracked by teachers.
  • Arriving late, leaving early, or lying down during class is counted as an absence.
  • Please arrive at least 5 minutes early and show full commitment and presence in each session.

🙌 Hands on Adjustments in Classes

  • Physical adjustments may be offered during classes. If you wish to avoid them (either generally or on a particular day), feel free to inform your teacher with ease.

🏫 Yoga Shala Guidelines:

  • Only water is allowed inside. No food or other drinks.
  • Phones must be off or in airplane mode. Audio/video recording is not allowed during classes, nor is the use of electronic devices for note-taking unless permitted.
  • Respect books and manuals — do not sit on them.
  • The last person to leave the yoga hall should switch off all lights, fans, AC, and close the windows.

📝 Final Exams

  • For 200hrs: Practical exams will be held between the 19th and 23rd of the month. Written assignments must be submitted at reception by the 21st.
  • For 300hrs: Practical exams will be held between the 22nd and 26th of the month. Written assignments must be submitted at reception by the 24th.

💮 Living as a Spiritual Family

  • Within this sacred space, we commit to nurturing mutual kindness, respect, and presence. Any inappropriate behavior — including ethical violations, theft, damage, discrimination, or harassment — will result in immediate dismissal without refund.
  • This journey requires discipline, sincerity, and openness of heart.
  • By honoring these guidelines, we co-create a sacred, harmonious, and transformative environment.

For any need or concern, we are here to support you.

✨ With gratitude and light in our hearts,
we wish you a beautiful and enlightening path ahead.

Namaste 🙏
