Instructions You Have To Follow With Rishikesh Yogkulam

Important Instructions

  • Discipline is an integral part of the training program and so the course routine must be strictly observed.
  • All classes are mandatory. Only in case of an emergency or illness can one take leave with the respected teacher’s permission. Uninformed leaves won’t be accepted, will be considered a gross breach of discipline and will affect the student’s monthly performance.
  • Ensure you are on time for class since you will not be permitted to enter any class once it has commenced.
  • Disobeying the rules and regulations could result in termination of studentship with no refund of fees.
  • A student must give advance intimation if they intend to skip a meal so that there is no wastage of food.
  • Rishikesh Yogkulam® does not make arrangements for guests of students. Any activity that is not related to the course is not permitted.
  • Smoking and alcohol are not permitted during the training.
  • This program is not suitable for severe mental/physical health conditions and thus you’re advised to not take this training as a substitute of medical therapies and alternative healing therapies

Evaluation And Certification

  • Assessment will be based on written assignment.
  • A student’s teaching (Asana,Pranayama,Meditation) will be a part of the assessment criteria.
  • Evaluation will be carried out only for those students who have a minimum of 90% attendance.
  • Upon successful assessment, the student will receive a certificate accredited by Yoga Alliance, USA.

Eligibility

The only prerequisite for our students is that they have an open mind and a thirst for learning and follow our Code of Conduct. At least 6 months of practice is recommended (though not required). Upon acceptance to the course, the student is expected to be present for every class and complete the coursework diligently.

Rishikesh Yogkulam® served to be one of the best decisions I have ever made. Originally, while searching for schools in India, I felt overwhelmed with the amount of schools in the city that all had the same outline. I chose Yogkulam after hearing horror stories about fake schools and scams and found Yogkulam through Instagram, Facebook and the official website with all of the information I needed to confirm its authenticity. They included in their fees airport pickup (which is amazing when entering a foreign country) a single or shared room with a comfortable full size bed, and private bathroom (all of which is pretty unique for a school in Rishikesh). Having a place for yourself to relax and recuperate I found is essential to your well-being, as getting sick or feeling absolutely exhausted is a common problem. The food actually served to be quite amazing. Of course, it could get a little tiring after eating it for several weeks, but it was comparably as great as anything you would eat outside of the school. As for the teachers, I can not begin to explain my love for them individually and as a whole. What makes this program so great is how you become part of their family so quickly. This is a relatively new school, but although they may be young, they are well trained, dedicated, and enthusiastic people. Their goal is to make sure that you grow as a person - mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Many other schools seem like factories just pulling out certificates and upping their reviews. Yogkulam was there to individualize the experience to make it fit your needs. The class sizes are small, and there are 2 studios which splits up the classes to be even smaller, which means you get personal, one on one, attention. Not many schools can ever give you this type of structure. These teachers are attentive and passionate, which makes getting to know them an even greater reward. Every single class was full of laughter, random silly questions, cultural immersion, and strength building. Amit and Dee, the leaders and creators of this facility, are renowned for their work, and created the program to make sure you are learning all aspects of yoga correctly and fluidly. Amit is so knowledgable, and he's willing to help with any question, concern, problem or difficulty your facing. He looks at the body as a structure, and taught alignment and adjustment in such a professional perspective that I now see flaws in myself and in others methodically. Dee, on the other hand, pushed me to limits that I was not willing to push myself to. I swear, he was trying to kill me at first, but he proved to me that I was capable of much more, and for the first time, I was able to achieve poses I never thought I could (and also chaturanga with my new muscles :P) Manu, a great friend and even greater educator, made anatomy and physiology so engaging and was an amazing example of how every teacher should structure a classroom environment. Every teacher in this school showed an immense amount of passion and care for what they taught and your relationship with them. Between the laughter, tears, body aches, and adventures, my course flew by me with unforgettable memories. I'm ever so thankful for this program, and I hope to share my yoga practice and make Yogkulam proud. LOVE YOU GUYS

What Does a Class at Rishikesh Yogkulam® Look Like?

Rishikesh Yogkulam® offers various courses ranging from the Beginner Level to the Advanced Level. The classes are indoor and outdoor. The indoor classes are performed in the yoga hall at our yoga school. While the classes are going on, the windows are kept open so that students get fresh air and proper ventilation and can perform yoga with greater zeal. To keep the class away from disturbance, cell phones are prohibited in the yoga hall, and unnecessary talking is also not allowed.

Pranayama

Pranayama is one such technique that our forefathers devised as a gift to mankind. If we talk about pranayama, then it is the fourth of the eight limbs of yoga. In ancient times, people used to practice it regularly and remain healthy. Pranayama has a special place and importance in Ashtanga Yoga. In Maharishi Patanjali's Ashtanga Yoga, it is written in the fourth pada, "Pranasya Ayam: Iti Pranayama:" This means pranayama is the expansion of prana, or life energy.

Pranayama is a combination of the words "Prana" and "Ayama." Prana means life force, which keeps our body alive and through which our body gets energy. Our body gets energy when we inhale and exhale prana, i.e., air. "Dimension" means to give direction or to change. When we draw the Prana Vayu, we gain control over its direction. We change its dimensions according to our wishes. The speed at which normal breath comes and goes remains constant. But in pranayama, we establish control over the speed of our breathing (stop breathing); that is called pranayama.

Sathkarma

Shatkarma, in the perspective of yoga, means cleansing. For the purification of the internal body, the practice done in Hatha Yoga is known as Shatkarma. The origin of the word is from the combination of these two words: "shat" and "karma." In this, Shat means six, and Karma means actions. Thus, Shatkarma means 'six actions." In the Gherand Samhita, Maharishi Gherand describes six shatkarmas as the first part of yoga. They believe that without the practice of shatkarma, no seeker can achieve success on the path of yoga.

Shatkarmas have a special purpose in our lives. It protects us from various types of diseases. Today, the whole world is spending billions of dollars on finding ways to prevent and cure dangerous diseases. But there is no permanent solution to any disease or ailment. Si sono presi cura del mio corpo poco flessibile e, nel mio percorso, consapevolmente o meno, mi hanno insegnato a rispettare ed espandere i limiti che mi sono imposta nel corso della vita. Il corso di 200 ore è ben strutturato, con insegnamenti straordinari su tutti i livelli: fisico, mentale, emotivo e spirituale. Lasciati ispirare, sentiti completo e lascia andare. Se per te conta più il contenuto che un nome famoso, allora scegli questa scuola. Guidata da insegnanti esperti come Dee e Amit, in modo professionale ma con un’atmosfera molto amichevole. Mi sono sentita a casa fin dal primo momento. Eravamo un piccolo gruppo e, grazie a questo, abbiamo ricevuto tutta l’attenzione da parte degli insegnanti e risposte a tutte le nostre domande. Tante nuove idee e ispirazione per la pratica dello yoga. La struttura è bellissima e il cibo delizioso, preparato dallo chef sempre sorridente :). Grazie per un’esperienza indimenticabile e meravigliosa!

Consiglio vivamente questa scuola, con un team di insegnanti estremamente professionale. Essendo una struttura piccola, riceverai la massima attenzione, che secondo me è un punto davvero importante nella scelta di una scuola e per progredire. Ho seguito il mio corso di formazione con Amit e posso affermare che è un ottimo insegnante, estremamente preparato e molto appassionato. Lui e tutto il team ti porteranno in alto nella tua pratica, nella tua conoscenza e ti daranno la sicurezza necessaria per insegnare a tua volta. Rishikesh Yogkulam è davvero una buona scelta!

Ho seguito il mio precedente insegnante Dee per il mio corso di formazione insegnanti yoga di 300 ore nella sua nuova scuola che gestisce insieme ad Amit, entrambi insegnanti eccezionali. La mia conoscenza dell’asana e dell’allineamento è migliorata molto, ma tutte le lezioni sono state brillanti. Il corso è intenso, ma ne vale assolutamente la pena. Il cibo è delizioso e cucinato con amore ogni singolo giorno. Le stanze sono luminose, pulite e spaziose. Gli insegnanti ci hanno portato in escursione a Rishikesh durante il nostro giorno libero, ci hanno invitato a un matrimonio indiano e hanno organizzato una bellissima festa di compleanno per una delle ragazze del corso. Il mio gruppo era piccolo e alla fine si era creato un legame davvero speciale tra di noi. Non posso ringraziare abbastanza gli insegnanti. Consiglio vivamente questa scuola.

Ho fatto molte ricerche per trovare la scuola perfetta e sono così felice di averla trovata! Gli insegnanti sono straordinari, pieni di conoscenza, pronti ad aiutarti a crescere, sempre disponibili ad ascoltare le tue domande, ad assisterti in caso di problemi o difficoltà di salute, rispettosi e sempre di buon umore, pronti a condividere esperienze e ricordi meravigliosi con te. Non posso ringraziare abbastanza tutti gli insegnanti di Rishikesh Yogkulam per la gentilezza e le conoscenze che mi hanno trasmesso. Tornerò sicuramente per continuare a studiare con tutti loro. I guruji Dhi e Amit ti insegneranno ad essere sia flessibile che forte allo stesso tempo. Sono così grata di aver avuto l’opportunità di imparare dai migliori. Principi guida e il sacro filo della disciplina


Ciao e benvenuto al Corso di Formazione per Insegnanti di Yoga! Siamo entusiasti di intraprendere insieme questo nuovo viaggio, dove nutriremo il corpo, la mente e l’anima. Rendiamo questa esperienza piacevole per trarne il massimo beneficio.

Informazioni generali:

  • Per migliorare la tua pratica yoga, ti chiediamo gentilmente di astenerti dal consumo di droghe, fumo e alcol durante il corso.
  • La domenica è il tuo giorno di riposo e rigenerazione! Non ci saranno lezioni e non verranno serviti pasti, così potrai esplorare i caffè della zona. Inoltre, tutte le escursioni verranno organizzate di domenica e comunicate con un giorno di anticipo.
  • Hai bisogno del servizio lavanderia? Nessun problema! Puoi lavare i tuoi capi al costo di 20 INR per pezzo. Rivolgiti alla reception per i dettagli e ricordati di pagare in contanti al momento del ritiro.
  • Per la tua comodità, la scuola offre un servizio di pulizia settimanale delle camere. Ti informeremo in anticipo sul giorno previsto.
  • Per rimanere idratato, è disponibile acqua filtrata nella zona cucina e un dispenser con acqua calda, fredda e a temperatura ambiente.
  • Durante il corso, potremmo scattare foto e registrare video delle attività. Se non desideri apparire nelle immagini, informa l’amministrazione durante il programma di orientamento.
  • Sii consapevole del consumo energetico! Spegni ventilatori, luci, stufe e scaldabagni quando non li utilizzi.
  • La tua salute è importante per noi. In caso di emergenza medica, contatta Himanshu, Anjali, Dheeru Ji, Jittu Ji, Pankaj Ji o Prahlad Ji. Nota: le spese mediche non sono coperte dalla scuola.
  • Per garantire un'esperienza immersiva, non è consentito ospitare amici, parenti o estranei senza previa autorizzazione.
  • Se non intendi consumare un pasto, avvisaci con almeno 3 ore di anticipo per evitare sprechi. In caso contrario, verranno addebitati 100 INR per pasto.
  • I pasti offerti seguono la cucina locale indiana. Serviamo piatti vegetariani nutrienti: legumi per le proteine, chapati e riso per i carboidrati, verdure cotte e crude e frutta a colazione. Se desideri altri prodotti, puoi visitarne lo store biologico nelle vicinanze. Coltiviamo insieme Kritajna (gratitudine) per il cibo che ci viene offerto.
  • Non lasciare tazze o bicchieri sulle scale o sul tetto.
  • Custodisci i tuoi effetti personali in un luogo sicuro e chiudi sempre la stanza quando esci. Ricorda anche di chiudere le finestre per evitare "visite" dei monaci.
  • Per eventuali danni o perdite alla proprietà della scuola, potrebbe essere richiesto un deposito cauzionale di 1000 INR. Se tutto è in ordine al momento del check-out, ti sarà restituito.
  • Il cancello della scuola chiude alle 22:00 per motivi di sicurezza. Essere all’interno dopo questo orario è obbligatorio per rispettare il regolamento.
  • Pratichiamo il silenzio e la consapevolezza: ti chiediamo di mantenere il silenzio dalla mattina fino alle 9:00, specialmente durante la colazione. Dopo quell’ora, potrai parlare liberamente. Durante le lezioni, puoi fare domande in qualsiasi momento.
  • Mantieni un comportamento rispettoso e professionale con lo staff e gli insegnanti.
  • Il check-out è previsto per le ore 11:00 del giorno di partenza.
  • Sii eco-consapevole: riduci l’uso di carta igienica. Tutti i bagni hanno doccette; se non sai come usarle, chiedi allo staff. Per la doccia, ti consigliamo il secchio: è più comodo ed ecologico.
  • I blackout elettrici sono frequenti in India, specialmente in estate. Durante questi momenti, l’AC e lo scaldabagno non saranno funzionanti.
  • Non dare da mangiare alle scimmie nei pressi della scuola: possono diventare aggressive. Evita anche di mangiare camminando per strada, perché potresti attirare scimmie e mucche!
  • Evita lo street food per prevenire problemi di stomaco. Bevi solo acqua filtrata e limita il consumo di frutta e verdura cruda.
  • Rispettiamo l’ambiente culturale indiano: evita manifestazioni d’affetto in pubblico all’interno della scuola.
  • Il giorno del check-in non sono previsti pasti o attività. Tutto inizierà ufficialmente il secondo giorno; nel frattempo, puoi esplorare i dintorni del campus.
  • Se non hai indicato allergie o intolleranze nel modulo di arrivo, potrebbe essere applicato un supplemento di $50 (4000 INR).
Informazioni sulle lezioni:
  • È importante partecipare a tutte le lezioni, poiché è richiesta una frequenza del 100% per poter ottenere il certificato. Tuttavia, comprendiamo che a volte si possa star male: in tal caso, ti chiediamo di informare i tuoi insegnanti.
  • Il registro presenze è gestito esclusivamente dai nostri insegnanti. Ti chiediamo gentilmente di non compilarlo personalmente.
  • Durante il corso, riceverai correzioni fisiche manuali. Se in qualsiasi momento ti senti a disagio, provi dolore o preferisci un altro approccio, ti invitiamo a comunicarlo. Il tuo benessere è importante!
  • Per mantenere un ambiente concentrato e tranquillo, ti chiediamo di non portare cibo o bevande (eccetto l'acqua) all'interno della sala yoga.
  • Sii puntuale e cerca di arrivare almeno cinque minuti prima dell'inizio della lezione, così da iniziare tutti insieme con calma e serenità.
  • Durante le lezioni, ti chiediamo di non usare il telefono per comunicazioni esterne o social media. Vogliamo creare un ambiente positivo e concentrato per tutti.
  • Evita di sdraiarti o sederti sopra i libri o i manuali durante le lezioni, poiché è considerato irrispettoso verso gli insegnanti e la cultura indiana.
  • Per ottenere il certificato, assicurati di consegnare i compiti entro il 21 del mese. Le sessioni d’esame si terranno tra il 19 e il 23.
  • Siamo come una grande famiglia: trattiamoci tutti con rispetto e gentilezza, inclusi staff, insegnanti e altri partecipanti.
  • Mantenere un’atmosfera yogica è fondamentale. Evitiamo qualsiasi tipo di violenza verbale o fisica. Comportamenti inappropriati come violazione del codice di disciplina, furto, danneggiamento della proprietà della scuola, discriminazione o molestie sessuali non saranno tollerati e potranno comportare l’espulsione dal corso.

Ricorda che questo è un corso di formazione per insegnanti intenso, che richiede impegno sia fisico che mentale.
